This is scary. I’ve never evn heard of this until I stumbled across this series ….

Really! What is wrong with people?
I just don`t understand how anybody can chose to go to war. Is it just me or am i right when i think that if we shut down the weapon industry, it would be a hughe step in the peace process. I mean no bullets no shooting, right? I just got a mail with a bunch of pictures of children shot, wounded or dead! What a fuck is that? I started thinking about it, about the people in Gaza, how they cry themselves through the night tonight. About the kid`s that will never wake up in the morning. I know we all see pictures like that almost every day, we get used to it, or we learn to ignore it. But tonight I forced myself to look, to try to understand the pain they are suffering. I know I won`t ever be able to fully understand the way they feel, I`m probably not even half way there.
I started crying.
I got two kids myself, I started to put myself in Gaza, imagening it was me living there. What would I do? How would I react?
I could honestly not think of anything.
I am gonna stay up all night thinking of the scared children in Gaza.
I`m too angry to sleep anyway.

What if Hamas dumped all their rockets in the sea tomorrow? Would Gazans enjoy the same freedoms as other nations? Would they be able to open their sea port to foreign ships and rebuild and operate their airport? Would they be able to import and export and carry on trade and develop their economy and prosper like other countries?

Would they be allowed to exploit and develop their offshore gas field? Would their fishermen be allowed to fish in unpolluted waters? Would their young people be able to come and go and take up places at foreign universities?

Would Israel clear out of Gazan airspace permanently? Would the Israeli navy cease its piracy and stay out of Palestinian territorial waters? Would you and I be able to visit Gaza direct?

Fat chance. None of this would suit Israel. So Gazans would be no better off. Their tormented half-existence would continue.

There are no rockets coming out of the West Bank. Yet the illegal Israeli occupation there continues and so does the ethnic cleansing, the land theft, the illegal settlements, the colonization, the demolition of Palestinian homes, the throttling of the economy, the abduction and 'administrative detention' of civilians and the massive interference with freedom of movement. Nothing has changed for West Bank Palestinians who DO NOT fire rockets. There is no sign of an end to their misery.

The bloody assault on Gaza therefore has much more to do with Israel's ambition to expand racial dominance in the Holy Land than crude and erratic rocket-fire. Hamas and the Palestinians holed up in Gaza are simply in the way of the Grand Plan and have to be removed or totally subdued.

The international community needs to keep their eye on the ball - the big issue – which is the ending of the occupation and Israel's withdrawal to recognized pre-67 borders as required by international law. In short, they need to stop wringing their hands and start delivering justice, which is long overdue.

Palestinians in Gaza will hardly wish to give up armed resistance until they receive copper-bottomed guarantees of a normal life unmolested by Israel... and see concrete evidence of it.

And in the end.. there were justice!

NEW YORK (AFP) – An airline passenger forced to cover his T-shirt because it displayed Arabic script has been awarded 240,000 dollars in compensation, campaigners said Monday.
Raed Jarrar received the pay out on Friday from two US Transportation Security Authority officials and from JetBlue Airways following the August 2006 incident at New York’s JFK Airport, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) announced.
“The outcome of this case is a victory for free speech and a blow to the discriminatory practice of racial profiling,” said Aden Fine, a lawyer with ACLU.
Jarrar, a US resident, was apprehended as he waited to board a JetBlue flight from New York to Oakland, California, and told to remove his shirt, which had written on it in Arabic: “We will not be silent.”
He was told other passengers felt uncomfortable because an Arabic-inscribed T-shirt in an airport was like “wearing a T-shirt at a bank stating, I am a robber,’” the ACLU said.
Jarrar eventually agreed to cover his shirt with another provided by JetBlue. He was allowed aboard but his seat was changed from the front to the back of the aircraft.

I would like to introduce you guys to Dr. Sami Al-Arian . He is a Pro Palestinian activist and was a Professor at University of South Florida . He spent a lot of time working on Capitol Hill trying to help the Palestinian people within the system. He as far as I’ve been able to research has always been about trying to find a legal and peaceful solution to the plight of the people of Palestine . He has met with both George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton along with MANY other top level senators and congressmen. He was constantly harassed by the government for his efforts .

After 9/11 in 2003 he was arrested in grandiose fashion and touted as ” The most dangerous Terrorist in America” . They made such a big deal out of it they even had U.S. Att. General John Ashcroft hold a national press conference to claim Dr. Sami was the leader of P.I.J. ( Palestinian Islamic Jihad ) a fact which he has stated was false from the beginning and further stated his condemnation of people who would harm innocent civilians as a way to make their points. He was held for 2 years before he could go to trial . When they finally got to trial Dr. Sami and 4 associates of his were charged with a combined 200+ counts of Terrorism and such . When the trial ended after 13 days of deliberations, the jury acquitted him on eight of 17 counts, while remaining deadlocked 10-2 in favor of acquittal on the other nine. Out of the 200+ charges against the 4 men there was not one “guilty” verdict . When asked what it would have taken to convict these men one of the jurors said “EVIDENCE” ….. Despite being acquitted he was still held without bail . The man was acquitted!!! Why is he still in jail?? The FBI tapped his phone for close to 10 years(not just his calls but his wife and childrens conversations) and had been investigating him for longer and still had not been able to convict him.

Then after 4 years of being kept from his family the government offered him a plea. If he plead guilty to a charge involving him donating to a charity for women and children somehow loosely connected to P.I.J. they would drop the remaining charges and let him go if he left the country. Now if this man was such a “HUGE” threat to the US why would they offer to let him go??????? After being worn down for so many years the Dr. wanted to return to his family so he signed the plea only to have the government illegally break the written agreement . No matter how you feel about the Israel Palestine conflict this man had broken no laws and was acquitted. The system worked but the government is holding this man illegally . He has now been on a hunger strike for nearing 50 days and has been put into solitary confinement for no apparent reason .

A couple of weeks ago a family got slaughtered in the little town Arboga.
Two days ago a little girl, Engla got abducted in dalarna.
Last nigtht a mother and her daughter got stabbed in Skogås.
What the fuck is wrong with people! Where do all the hate and madness come from?
How the fuck do you come up with the idea of hurting a child? or anyone, for fuck sake!
I`ve read about these horrible things in the paper for a couple of days, suddenly it hit me that im reading this cause i think its exciting! like i was watching a thriller movie. And i think most people do...
So i decided to change all that by atleast giving it some extra thoughts, i mean i got kids my self and even if you don`t, you got people you care about alot anyway.
Just imagine if something like this happend just a little closer to your own bubble of concern. If it really touched you a little more... I don`t wanna think about it...

I can`t figure out what makes people do terrible amd fucked up things like this, but i know i can contribute to make the world a better place by beliving in the things i love, beliving in love. Not let insignificant shit just slide. Just care a little more about the things that i got close to me, my family, girlfriend, my friends...
If everybody did that in stead of allways wishing at the fucking stars, we would pretty soon find out that the web of caring would be stronger worldwide and that we could all take pride in the contribution we make. We are all a part of this madness.
Just belive a little more in what you got and what you can do..

I can`t sleep!

Today i went to Aquaria.. I`ts like a big fish zoo, they got all kinds of species in a big jungel looking environment.. I`ts actually awsome. pirañas, sharks, and a lot of domestic species (obviously not in the jungel area, nobody can blame our weather for being tropical). We (Me & the kids) went with Jocke and Terje. I actually felt like i finally could relax for the first time in days. So when we came home killed a couple of hot dog`s i fell asleap.. I cant explain the relief of sleeping for the first time in week`s, not dreaming... And not because of the morphine i keep stuffing my face with.. Now when i know it`s possible im gonna try tonight with no TV, no movie`s, no internet or music.. wish me luck..

Been spending the last couple of days in Stockholm, the royal capital. Today me my boys spent an awsome time with my dear old friends Jocke and Matti (and their kids too). Much love and play. I love days like this..

I just spent a nice vacation in Dalarna with my family. I love it there.. the silence... the nature... and the snowmobiles... haha. We had an awsome time, even though the kids were going bananas, i feel like a million bucks. I really needed to clear my head. And the best thing is that now when im`m back in umeå I still have a week vacation left!! life right now, is a kick in the pants..
