In the center of the Pacific Ocean, in an area that is nobodies problem is hundreds of square miles of toxic plastic. A swirling vortex of currents in the Pacific Gyre, creates a floating landfill. Sometimes referred to by sea captains as the Eastern Garbage Patch. Plastic bottles and trash as far as the eye can see. I have been interested in this for awhile, there is not allot of information on the internet, so it seemed like an urban myth. VBS got someone to take them out on a 3 week expedition to find it.
